Policies

Wizards of the Coast in print sealed product policy

All MTG sealed, in print, product orders outside of the US and it's Territories will be cancelled.  These cancelled orders will be refunded the purchase price only.  Shipping charges will not be refunded due to process and handling of the order.

Buy List Policies

Please be sure that your cards are accurately graded using our grading scale.  Also be sure that the sold cards are in the same order as they are on your sell order email notification.  You must include a copy of the sell order that was emailed to you upon your sell order, if it is not, then your payment will be delayed and accessed a 5% sorting fee. 

Condition-  The cards/games need to be in the correct graded condition as stated by you in your sell order according to our grading scale.  All cards not as stated will be downgraded to the accurate buy price or returned to you at your expense.

Payment-  Please be sure to include your preference on how you want to be paid for your sell order.  We pay using Paypal or business check.  Please be sure to include your Paypal email address if you choose to be paid using PayPal.  Please be sure to include an accurate address and name if you choose to be paid by business check.

Shipping-  All sell orders will need to include a copy of the sell order notification that was emailed to you.  All items must be in the order listed by you on your sell order.  All large sell orders (10 or more items) not in order will be charged a 5% sorting fee on the whole order.  All sell orders shipped without a copy of the sell order notification will be delayed and charged a 10% processing fee.

 Store Pick Up Policy

In store pick ups can only be done in the Tigard location. If you would like to pick up your order in store, you are welcome to do so, but only during posted store hours.  All online orders require 1 business day for processing. If you select in store pick up, you may pay for your order online at the time the order is placed or in the store at time of pick up. 

Return Policy

 You may return most new, unopened items purchased from GameStar  within 7 days of delivery for a full refund in the form that it was received minus a 10% restocking fee. We will only cover return shipping and waive the fee if we made an error in your order.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued upon the return of the item/s and the processing of the return.  All returns will need a copy of the sales receipt that is emailed to you upon checkout.  If this receipt is not included your refund will be delayed.  Refunds generally take 2-4 weeks from the time you ship back the item/s.  Please keep in mind that there is return shipping time, item processing time as well as bank refund processing.  We will send an email upon our processing of your return.

GameStar reserves the right to limit or cancel any order for any reason.

All orders must be approved before shipping and if for any reason there is an error in the order we will email you to let you know.  All orders of more than 8 of a specific card, or more than 1 of a specific video game, may also need approval.  Our intention is to supply cards and games to players, not for resellers.  You may contact us if you intend on purchasing more than this quantity at (Gamestar.contact@gmail.com).

Frequently Asked Questions



Preorder Information

We strive to ship all pre-orders within 2 days of the release date.  All pre-orders are shipped in a chronological order starting with the first order placed.  There is the potential for late shipments due to supply and volume of orders.  In the event that a order will be delayed more than one week we will email you notification.

Pre-orders can be cancelled, but will be charged a 10% order handling fee.

Pre-ordered and all new sealed, in print, Magic the Gathering cannot be shipped internationally.  All international orders of new sealed, in print, Magic the Gathering will be cancelled and be refunded the entire purchase price only.  The shipping charge will not be refunded in order to cover the order processing.  It is against Wizards of the Coast policy to sell in print, sealed product internationally.

If you desire to have your non pre-order item/s shipped prior to the scheduled shipping of your pre-order items please make seperate orders for non pre-order item.  Otherwise they will be shipped together at the time of release and processing.

Return Policy

We only accept returns of new sealed items.  The returned item must be in same condition as when shipped; new, sealed, and stated condition.  All returns must include a copy of the sales order emailed to you upon purchase.  All returns will be accessed a 10% restocking fee.  The refund will be for the purchase price only and will not include shipping charges.  If an error was made by GameStar we will issue a complete refund and waive the restocking fee.  We will also pay for like return shipping postage fees.

 

 

Grading Scale of Cards

Mint-  A vintage card that shows no signs of play wear.

Near Mint Any card that shows no signs of wear.  Generally a pack fresh card but may have a very minor chip or ding (or 2) in the edge.  Mainly this card will show no damage or sign of use.

Light Play Any card that has light play wear on edges.  Will not be significant but will be noticeable.

Moderate Play Any card that has very noticeable edge wear and may include some wear in the center of the card.

Heavy Play Any card that is played throughout.  It will have wear on all edges and surfaces of front and back of card.  No creases.

Poor-  Any card that contains writing, creases, and/or water damage. 



Grading Scale of Disc Video Games

All discs are guaranteed to be in full functioning and playable condition.  When necessary we will resurface the disc using our professional JFJ machine.

Brand New-  Brand new and factory sealed product.  May have knicks or small tears in the plastic seal.  If you need to know the exact condition please contact us.

Complete-  Comes with case, cover art, manual, and game disc.  All pieces are original versions not photo copies or other.  

Case & Disc-  Comes with case, cover art, and game disc.  The manual is NOT included.  All pieces are original versions not photo copies or other. 

Manual & Disc-  Comes with case, manual, and game disc.  The cover art is NOT included.  All pieces are original versions not photo copies or other. 

Disc Only-  Comes with case and game disc only.  The cover art and manual are NOT included.

 

Grading Scale of Cartridge Video Games

If you are concerned about the condition of the item or any part of the item please be sure to ask prior to purchasing the item.  All refunds will be for purchase price only, all returns will be assessed a 10% restocking fee and the shipping charges will not be refunded.  So be sure to ask questions first.  If we made an error then we will waive the restocking fee and return the shipping also.
